How we make these readings
Scripture at Night started in July 2026 with one idea: the Bible, read slowly, all night, with nothing added.
Every reading is chosen, checked and produced by a real person, Brett, in Los Angeles. He picks the passages, arranges them for the night, checks the pronunciation and builds each reading by hand from the King James Version, which has been in the public domain for centuries. The narration uses a licensed AI voice, Silas, chosen because it stays steady for three hours and never tires. The paintings are made for the channel in a single style: the Holy Land at dusk, no faces, no text. The ambient sound is a licensed recording.
Nothing here interprets the Bible for you. That is deliberate. The words are the Bible's own.
